According to an AP report on May 28, Meadow will live with her mother and a nanny in a home purchased by Walker’s estate.*
The custody case was dismissed when court-appointed attorney Amy Nieman informed Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner David J. Cowan that there was no need for court oversight because there was an adequate plan for the teenager’s care, which includes help from a close friend of the late actor who has been appointed… to make sure Meadow receives proper care.
The guardianship issue arose because Meadow’s mother, Rebecca Soteros, had been receiving treatment for alcoholism. but is currently sober, Nieman said. Paul Walker’s mother, Cheryl, had petitioned for guardianship over her granddaughter, but she later asked to dismiss it, citing Meadow’s wishes.
